Meet and Greet (Initial Consultation) - No Charge

Petcetera Pet Sitting Services provides a complimentary half hour consultation with the client and their pet(s). This initial meeting is not only essential in familiarizing your pet with its new care-taker, but provides an opportunity to discuss your pets needs and how Petcetera Pet Sitting Services can provide for them. Every client will receive an introductory packet including our General Service Contract and Veterinary Notification form.

Petcetera Pet Sitting does NOT charge extra for multiple pets.

General Walking Services - $17 per 30 minutes

Petcetera Pet Sitting Services is happy to provide the busy and popular pet owner with daily dog walking services. All walking services include a full 30-minute walk and complimentary waste removal. Owners must provide a collar and leash or harness. Petcetera Pet Sitting Services is experienced with Gentle Leader leashes and a variety of harnesses. All dog-walking services require a brief walk with the owner during the initial Meet and Greet.

Basic Daily Care - $17 per 30 minutes; $28 per 60 minutes

Basic Daily Care for any animal consists of a 30 or 60 minute visit, which includes maintenance specialized for your pet. Services include: food & water replenishment, litter box scooping, one outdoor walk, play exercise, free-roaming, small animal cage cleaning, light pet-related cleaning, administering medication, cleaning inside pet-related mess, and complimentary mail & plant-watering services. Cuddling is an option for attention-loving pets.

Overnight Pet Sitting (in your home) - $65 per night (12 hour period)

Overnight pet sitting in your home is offered on a limited basis and consists of a 12 hour period of time spent with your pets overnight in your home (usually 7p - 7a or 8p - 8a). Overnight care includes evening and morning walks (when necessary), feeding, and “Biscuits & a Movie.” Additional afternoon walks are offered at a discounted rate. Please inquire about availability. Overnights are not offered on major holidays such as Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Livestock: Basic Daily Care for livestock is negotiable upon time commitment and number of animals in care. Petcetera Pet Sitting Services is experienced with horses, cows, small livestock, and barn fowl and has administered care for special needs livestock.

Medication Administration - No Charge

Petcetera Pet Sitting Services is experienced in providing medication to a variety of pets and does so free of charge. Many of our clients require daily medication to live a healthy life. Petcetera Pet Sitting Services does not believe in profiting from the medical needs of pets. We are experienced with oral medication (pills and liquids); eye care (saline drops and gels); flea treatments; insulin injections; and adhere strictly to the rules regarding their administration. Petcetera Pet Sitting Services is insured through Pet Sitters Associates, L.L.C. in case of medical emergency.

Petcetera Pet Sitting Services is insured for pet sitting in your home. Our insurance provides coverage for your pet, your home, and all of your belongings.

Environmental Enrichment (Consulting Service) - $17 per 30 minute consultation

Environmental enrichment is geared towards improving the health and environment of our caged pets (guinea pigs, parrots, hamsters, reptiles, etc.). Petcetera Pet Sitting Services’ consultations are provided to educate the client on proper cage size and environmental specifics, such as proper lighting, toys, and diet. Petcetera Pet Sitting Services will make a home visit to the client and assess their pet’s environment, discussing what improvements may me made in person. A follow-up report will be presented to the client via email or postal mail.

Re-homing Assistance

Choosing to re-home your pet is a very, very difficult decision. As the owners of over 10 re-homed or rescued pets, Petcetera Pet Sitting Services understands and is familiar with the process of choosing to find a beloved pet a better home. If you’re considering re-homing your pet and need guidance, Petcetera Pet Sitting Services is there to extend an understanding and helpful hand. 11 of the pets in the Petcetera Pet Sitting Services family are re-homed or rescued pets. We have the knowledge and capability to walk you through the process, or even take over the process for you. Rest assured that Petcetera Pet Sitting Services will find the perfect forever home for your pet.
